While some people find sitting down with a Rubik’s Cube a fun way to unwind, other people (a lot of other people) find it eye-wateringly annoying and a complete waste of time.
Depending on which of these camps you fall into you are either going to find this new 3D puzzle to be a good laugh or akin to an hour in a torture chamber.
The Pillow 13x13x13 IQ Brick (not a particularly catchy name) is basically a Rubik’s Cube, but instead of having nine squares on each of it’s six faces, this one has 169 squares on six faces (making 1014 squares in total), as well as 13 different colours to match up.
Needless to say, it will take even the most experienced puzzle solver a while to complete.
It’s definitely the perfect Christmas gift for any Mensa members out there (or if you just really hate your family).
Rather than pretend it’s a relaxing gift, puzzle makers Brando say it is ‘good for creative thinking and improving both your IQ and EQ (emotional intelligence)’.
For $320 (£203) each, lets just hope they don’t lead to everyone who attempts to solve one turning insane with frustration.
Brando’s only advice to infuriated victims people trying to solve it? ‘Take a tea break and try again’.
